A few weeks ago on SCWBI (Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) Facebook page there was a discussion on Fairy Tales. It was interesting and varied discussion that showed that what a fairy tale is subjective, and that different people have very different perceptions on what a fairytale is. This has prompted three SCBWI members to think at little more about how we see fairy tale and what they mean to us. We have decided to write an 'ongoing' blog between myself, Emma Graham and Donna Vann. We have answered three questions in total and will post them on our blogs over the next few weeks.
