Nicola Morgan - YA author and blogger extraordinaire - has written a follow-up to Write a Great Synopsis. It's called Dear Agent - Write the letter that sells your book, and it tells you all you need to know about approaching an agent. Trust me, this lady knows her stuff, and she's the person to tell you exactly why you shouldn't tie up your MS in sparkly ribbon or enclose chocolates with your query letter. (Though she probably wouldn't refuse if you sent her a thank-you box of something chocolatey.)

Guys, I can highly recommend this book - I haven't bought it YET but Ms Morgan's previous writerly book was extremely helpful. Just off to amazon to order it now...
